Position overview

Dobrov Family Group is entering its next growth phase, expanding beyond core real estate development into new markets, new asset classes, and new capital structures. We are seeking a senior commercial leader to act as the group’s growth and venture engine, someone who combines deal origination, capital structuring, and execution. This role is not advisory. It is designed for a hands-on operator with an ownership mindset who is comfortable taking ideas from concept to capitalisation and delivery, with direct accountability for results. As Head of Growth & Strategic Ventures, you will work as a close partner to the CEO, operating across two mandates: New Ventures and Portfolio Acceleration. You will operate with vertical authority over new ventures and horizontal influence across existing business units, earning the right to intervene by consistently delivering measurable value.

Job Responsibilities

  • Originate off-market investment opportunities across EU, DACH, and selected European markets

  • Structure group-wide capital strategies, including debt, equity, joint ventures, and promote structures

  • Lead early-stage execution of new ventures: market entry, deal closing, permitting, team build-out, and stabilisation

  • Actively raise capital from banks, family offices, and institutional partners

  • Drive a tech-enabled investment approach, introducing PropTech and operational efficiencies across the portfolio

  • Partner with business unit leaders to improve returns through capital optimisation, investor access, and strategic pivots

What you bring on board

  • 10+ years of experience with a proven track record of launching ventures, platforms, or business units

  • Proven deal-making and closing experience on complex real estate, infrastructure, or M&A transactions in Western Europe

  • Strong financial capability: IRR modeling, capital stacks, waterfalls, and investment structuring

  • Confident operating with senior stakeholders and challenging established approaches when returns justify it

  • Commercially pragmatic, decisive, and outcome-driven

  • Experience with energy, logistics, or PropTech is a strong advantage
